About 6E Cube Game

6E Cube Game, sometimes searched as 6E Cube Games, is a free puzzle site built around one object: the 3x3 cube. It gives you a cube to turn, a solver to rescue the one on your desk, a timer to measure practice and guides to learn the method. It is independent, runs entirely in your browser and asks for nothing.

Why a solver, a timer and a trainer in one

Most cube sites do one thing. Solvers rescue a scrambled cube but teach nothing; timers assume you can already solve; tutorials are diagrams that never move. We wanted the three to live on one page so the natural path works: get your cube solved today, learn the moves tomorrow, time yourself next week. The same 3D cube serves all three, and the same notation runs through everything.

What it is not

6E Cube Game is not connected with any cube manufacturer, brand or competition body, and it does not sell cubes. It uses the standard six-colour scheme and the public move notation that every speedcuber shares, both of which belong to no one. The trademarked names of specific puzzle products are not used on this site; we simply say “the cube”.

How it is run

  • Free, no purchases. There is nothing to buy anywhere on 6ecubes.com, not even optional extras.
  • No account needed. Your solve times and settings are stored in your own browser. The optional leaderboard account is a player name and a password hash, nothing else: no email, no phone, no real name. The privacy policy is short because there is little to say.
  • On-device. The solver runs in a background thread on your phone or computer, which is why the whole site works offline after one visit.
  • Open-source engine. The two-phase solving library is open source under the MIT licence and credited on the terms page. The cube model, the 3D view, the timer and the guides are our own work.

What we are working on

Next in line: a camera scan that reads the cube's colours from a photo, a real-cube timer with a space-bar start and inspection countdown, 2x2 and 4x4 solvers, and a native Android build for people who prefer a store. If one of those matters to you, say so on the contact page; it decides the order.

Accuracy

Every algorithm in the guides was verified by running it on the site's own cube engine, which is in turn tested against the solver library move by move. If you find a sequence that does not do what the page says, tell us and it will be fixed.

Ready to turn?

Paint in your cube on the start page and follow the solution turn by turn.
