Reporting a solver problem

The fastest way for us to reproduce it is the exact cube you entered. Please include:

  • The 54-letter cube string if you can get it: the order is the white face, then red, green, yellow, orange and blue, nine stickers each, written as the face letters U R F D L B. A screenshot of the flat net works just as well.
  • What the app said (the error message, or the solution it gave).
  • What happened on the real cube when you followed the moves, and at which move it went wrong.

Nine times out of ten the cause is a single sticker. The solver guide lists the usual slips, so a quick read before writing may save you the wait.

Reporting a display or timer bug

  • Your device and browser (for example “Pixel 7, Chrome” or “iPhone 13, Safari”).
  • Whether you were on the site or the installed app.
  • What you did, what you expected and what you saw. A screen recording is ideal.

Suggesting a feature

Tell us what you would do with it. The current list, in rough order, is a camera scan, a real-cube timer with inspection, 2x2 and 4x4 solvers and a native Android app. Votes move things up the list.

Other questions

The FAQ answers the common ones. The privacy policy and terms cover what the site stores and how it may be used. We do not sell cubes and cannot advise on which to buy; any speedcubing community will do that better than we can.
